Ao Encontro de Sabores, is a PALOP'S gastronomy promotion platform, where it’s revealed the great diffusion that the São Tomé gastronomy suffered, due to the political issues and how this diffusion was important for the enrichment of the country's cuisine and gastronomic tourism.

 

A History of Remembering is a people’s archive of events and experiences which shaped the identities of people of Black African descent. Through the power of recitation and assembly we breathe life to these narratives. We gather together to recollect that which has lost, stolen, erased, dismissed, forgotten, hidden, or deemed uncivilized. We summon into mind and bring to voice histories of the continent, and the diaspora. Through colors, flavors, textures, and aromas, we commune over a feast which consists of moments of recognition which we feel deep in the pits of our stomachs.

TodoMundo is the convergence of the multiple Portuguese-speaking culture and expressions spread throughout the world, from the Amazon to the Zambezi, from Africa to Brazil - gastronomy, sounds, dances, images and, of course, the debate of ideas with a dash of poetry.

This event costs 20€ and is EXCLUSIVE for the conference participants, limited to 100 people.
